Seacoast Periodontics & Dental Implants in New Hampshire, led by Drs. David & Amy Rosania, is committed to taking all necessary precautions as the COVID-19 infectious disease, more commonly known as the coronavirus, continues to proliferate across the United States and the world. Given that we use several tools like probes, operative burs, and dental forceps that routinely touch patients’ mouths, we are constantly verifying that all employees regularly wash their hands with antibacterial soap for at least 20 seconds. We are also following all other guidelines established by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), including:

  • Covering one’s mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing
  • Maintaining a distance of at least 6 feet from people who are sick
  • Using alcohol-based hand sanitizers (with 60-95% alcohol content)
  • Not touching one’s face (eyes, ears, or mouth)
  • Keeping a normal airflow (e.g. via air conditioning/HVAC)
  • Regularly cleaning and disinfecting all frequently used objects and surfaces, like sinks and tools

Masks can also be used in certain cases, although their supply is being carefully managed.
