Covering Exposed, Notched Roots in Portsmouth, NH

We recommend an electric toothbrush with a pressure sensor and soft brush heads for all our patients. This can reduce the chances of aggravating gum recession due to overbrushing, which was the cause of our patient’s gum recession and also notching of his exposed roots. Using a microsurgical grafting technique we were able to restore his lost gum tissue and cover the notched roots, avoiding the need for fillings. Now that he has a new electric toothbrush, he and we expect that he will not need grafting again.

Every patient is unique and we strive to create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to you.
